Mr. Reinhard Olt is a respected and highly professional journalist of one of the most important German daily newspaper, Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung. Since years he has published as a correspondent, based in Vienna, articles on the political situation in Central and Eastern European Countries, specially Slovenia and Slovakia. With his articles and as lector at different universities he contributed to a better understanding of cultural and ethnic diversity in Europe. His uncountable published articles about minority protection and promotion of their cultures have an impact on the public opinion, stand for editorial independence, journalistic ethics and high standard professionalism.

The South Tyrolean Alt-Landeshauptmann Silvius Magnago received the Coudenhove-Kalerghi Prize from the former Austrian Minister for Foreign Affairs Alois Mock during the celebration of the Otto von Habsburg Prize Award 2004.
