Salvador Cardus (Avui and La Vanguardia)

Mr. Cardús is professor of sociology at UAB, Degree and doctorate in economics from the Autonomous University of Barcelona (1976 and 1981, respectively). As a researcher has worked on issues as religion, culture, media and national events, and particularly the Catalan politics. Among his publications should be mentioned Collapse of living (1981), Surveys to the Catalan youth(1984), Extra Time. He is the president of the Foundation of the hearings of Communication and Culture, one of the founders of the Barometer of Communication and Culture and journalist and contributor of the newspapers Avui and La Vanguardia and Radio Euskadi.
