The Midas Prize for Journalism 2011 has been awarded to Ms. Jeanette Björkqvist, journalist of the Swedish newspaper "Hufvudstadsbladet" who has been reporting about the situation of Romanian Roma begging in the streets of Helsinki. Her work was already rewarded this winter with the EU Commissions international prize for journalism about discrimination.
